No login, no accounts
checkVmate does not require any login, sign-up, or account to use. Anyone who opens the app can create a list and start adding items immediately. We do not ask for, collect, or verify your identity.
Lists are accessible to anyone with the link
Each list is reachable through its unique URL. There is no password or access control on an individual list. If someone obtains the link to a list — whether you shared it intentionally or not — they can open it, view its contents, and add, edit, check off, or remove items. Treat a list link like a shared key: only send it to people you trust, and do not put anything sensitive or private in a list.
No responsibility or accountability
checkVmate is provided "as is," with no guarantees of any kind. The operator of checkVmate is not responsible or accountable for anything that happens to, within, or as a result of your use of a list — including any content added by you or others, any data loss, or anyone accessing a list through its link. You use the service entirely at your own risk.
Operator visibility
The operator of checkVmate has the ability to view system analytics and to see the lists created in the system, including their contents. This access is used to operate, monitor, and maintain the service. Again, please do not store anything confidential in a list.

This policy may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of checkVmate means you accept the current version of this policy.
